Challenge To Myself

So me and some of my friends were talking one day about how I run and stuff, and one of them said wouldn't it be amazing if you ran to Wonderland.... for all of you who don't know I live in Pickering so that's like a 40min-1hour drive.... my response was "are you insane?". Then it got to the point were there was talk about running to Scarborough Town center. Still seems a bit far from Pickering, and after going on mapquest and looking it up, its about 19.93977216001072 km... still seems pretty far lol. The farthest I've ever ran without stop is about 8 km, and I ran that yesterday. So I'm actually thinking about it, I want to see if I can run that far. It seems like a long run but one day this year or maybe next year (2009) seeing as there is only two days left till new year, I will be running to Scarborough town. I'm sure I'm going to have a break or two but I don't care I'm going to try and do it. And I just bought a fresh pair of sneaks today so I'm set to go. So yeah, I probably won't post anything in the next week or so so to all the people reading this Happy New years!

Bah! Humbug!

Christmas just doesn't have the same kind of effect it has on me anymore. I wasn't excited for anything and have really no reason to be. I don't know I guess when you get older you just don't really care for it to much. Even at my family Christmas party last night, most of the people left around 11:30. I just don't know anymore. Nothing to exciting about this Christmas. Doesn't really feel like I got anything because I got an early gift, I liked it it was a winter jacket. And I needed to use it so I got it early. Lol I just don't know if I'm going to be excited for Christmas anymore. I know it sounds depressing and whatever but its just the way i feel. And I know its suppose to be about giving but I don't really have any money to buy anything.

My Food

Instant noodles! I love instant noodles, their easy to make and taste pretty decent. And since I can't cook if my life depended on it, I make instant noodles instead. All you have to do is just boil the water and put in the noodles and its basically done. Lol a post on instant noodles, I can't think of stuff to write about. My brain is still on vacation and wont be back until school starts. So yeah back to instant noodles... Without them I would have nothing to eat, when no one is home. I usually put eggs, I find it give it something healthy to it and a bit of rice to make it sort of filling. I've been eating this stuff since kindergarten, my dad would make it for me everyday when I would get home from school. lol And It still tastes good after eating it so much. I eat the BEEF FLAVOUR ICHIBAN. but can't find a good pic of it so I have one of the shrimp one, never tried it.

Finally Something Decent....

If you haven't heard of Blu, get on limewire, aries, napster or whatever you have to download music and get some songs from this guy. Its refreshing to hear some good hiphop, instead of the useless blabber they put on the radio. He is sort of part of two groups, Blu and Exile and Johnson and Johnson... most of his stuff is pretty good. I've been listening to him since early this year or late last year. whatever... Get his music its good. He is dubbed one of the artist to save hip hop from its current state. There are some good artist out there right now, but they just don't get heard to often. Its always the gangster rap or club music thats always on t.v or on the radio. Heres one of his songs, Its called maintain, the vid sort of goes longer then the song though. ENJOY.....

Back To Work

Yesterday, I finally went back to the gym after a month. I have to take the go bus from Pickering to York u... from york u to Ingram (where my gym is). The strike sucks, I hate it and i don't even go to york lol. Just because I have to walk all the way up to Steeles then down Keele just to catch my bus that takes me to the gym. I don't really mind the walk, its just that its freezing out! It takes about an hour and 40-50 min to get to my gym from pickering, but the express takes about 1 hour and 10-20. Some people might call me crazy but whatever, its a good gym and its the best gym for Muay Thai in Toronto. I go for the morning classes because so I can work out, go home and do whatever I want . Plus there not as intense as the evening classes. I just want to get back into the groove of going to the gym.. then I'll go to the evening classes. BTW if anyone is interested in muay thai and wants a good place to train, the gym is called Siam's No.1. and the Website: http://www.siamno1.com/ its currently under construction, but the schedule is up and so are the prices.

Blogging

I am currently home alone right now, so I just decided to write another post for this blog. Meh, nothing else to do so whatever..... The weird thing is if I look back before I even started this whole blogging thing, I couldn't picture myself doing this. Just because I'm not a very outspoken person to be honest with you. I keep to myself a lot and don't really like to express my thoughts and opinions to others. The way that this whole blogging thing started is, I just made an account to say something on my friends blog. And now i have my very own blog.lol. I enjoy doing this, its something to do if I'm bored and have nothing else to do.. like today for example, I got loads of free time to do whatever I want, but here I am sitting on my computer writing on "Whatever Comes 2 Mind". Even though my grammar isn't to great or I'm not the best writer out there, I just keep coming back to this blog and keep writing. Since I've started this thing I've gotten some positive feed back from a few people.. so i don't know it sort of makes me feel good to write and people encouraging you to keep writing.

Back in the DAY

Yeah, so back in the day when I was still little, I used to watch a ton of T.V.. now not so much. I was a big fan of all the classics Power Rangers, Beasties, Beetleborgs, Pokemon, Digimon, X-men, Spiderman, Batman, Dragon ball Z... yeah all those shows. Saturday morning cartoons used to be the shit. But I think it was last weekend I was up early and just decided to watch some T.V. But there was NOTHING ON... WTF! Nothing, these children have nothing to look forward to on Saturday mornings. When i was little, Saturdays were my favourite days just because all my favourite shows were on. Kids now a days are being deprived of something special, seriously it makes me sad just thinking about what used to be.... lol There's so many channels but nothing to watch. What are these kids going to do on Saturday mornings.. exercise, play sports..pshh these kids have 6 days of the week to do that. Change the channel

And The Winner is.....

Manny Pacquiao just obliterated Oscar Dela Hoya, Oscar just didn't have an answer for anything Manny was throwing. Manny is truly a inspiration for me and to any other Filipino person, or anyone for that matter. He truly came from nothing and look at him now boxings 1# p4p fighter. Yeah.. anyways back to the fight. The first couple of rounds Manny just outclassed Oscar, with his speed. Not only his hand speed but his footwork, his in and out kind of movement was a good game plan. Land your shots and step away, it was great. During round 7 and 8 Oscar wasn't even responding or throwing any punches. He looked like he wanted out of the fight, Oscar was just sitting in the corner with a closed guard while Manny just threw a flurry of punches. When the bell sounded for both men to return to their corners, I knew the fight was over. It was a corner stoppage, he couldn't continue for the rest of the fight. Oscars head coach "Nacho" actually said "hes to fast" meaning there's no way that Oscar can keep up. So the fight ended and everyone in my family cheered.

Nujabes

Nujabes (pronounced new-jah-best) is a Japanese producer, who produces jazz/hip-hop kind of songs. Seriously the beats he makes are amazing, he really knows how to make music. The music he makes is truly a work of art, in my opinion. His instrumentals, even though have no words or anything, feel like there's already so much meaning to it. Its what you interpret it to be, its relaxing to the point you can sit and listen to his songs all day and not be bored of it. One of the songs that I'm currently hooked on to is his song "Reflection Eternal" heres a video of it....

Random Thoughts

I finished my first semester yesterday, and here I am doing nothing. Hopefully I did well on all my exams. But I don't know, I didn't really study for any of them... Yeah, I'm going to be hitting the gym during my break, I haven't been to the gym in almost a month :s.. I got to get back into my routine of going to the gym.. training and stuff like that. Also I'm pretty hyped about tomorrow, the Pacman vs DLH fight is tomorrow. GO PAC! lol. I don't know where I'm going to be watching it, but I'll figure out something... Since my Christmas break has officially started, I'm trying to get into the Christmas mood, but I'm not really feeling it. Just because I'm not too excited about Christmas as I used to be when I was a little kid. It's because I don't really want anything really... I have a job so I don't really need money, although free money is always good. I honestly couldn't think of something I really want to be honest with you. Maybe a new pair of running shoes? Some sweaters? A new winter jacket? lol I don't know, maybe when it gets closer to Christmas I'll feel more in the Christmas mood.

So I already have a post on Olga Kurylenko, but I think she deserves another one. lol Do you remember when you were like 13,14,15 you would have crushes on celebrities even though you've never met them? lol I think I have one at eighteen... Olga is really quite stunning, so can you really blame me for having one? I first saw her in the movie Hitman over the summer, and whatever I thought she was pretty attractive. But after watching Quantum she really caught my eye. lol I know its sort of weird to have a crush on someone you don't even know.. But I guess I'm no different from those girls that are obssessed with that guy from Twighlight (lame), he looks like a fag to me. haha

Sawadee khap

Many people have been asking me what the hell "sawadeekhap" actually means and basically its the Thai word for Hello and Goodbye. At the gym I go to, its a thing that everyone says to each other instead of hello or goodbye. Since our trainer is in fact from Thailand, he not only teaches us Muay Thai but sometimes gives us a little bit of the thai culture by teaching us some words and what not. So ye Sawadeekhap!

What If God Didn't Command It!

Basically I look over my notes for tomorrows exam and I realized there's some pretty interesting stuff that was taught.. lol. Yeah, what I had in my notes is if there was no God, there would be no laws. It's because most of our laws are based on religion for example natural law is something like "no one has the right to kill". Now as of right now, I'm not too religious, but I still believe in God... just to put that out there. Okay, lets say hypothetically there was no such thing as God he was just made up by some dude. Lets say that dude never made up God... would people be in chaos? There would be no fear( coming from God to punish them) in the peoples hearts to prevent them from doing anything wrong. So the idea of God is a good thing. So basically the idea of a higher power, a higher authority is what keeps people in check.. most people anyways. Even atheist still believe in what the religious people believe in, they just don't believe in where or who that authority comes from.

Exam week

Next week starting Monday, I have exams until Thursday. I have some days that I have two exams on the same day.. So I have to buckle down and study... even though I never really study.. I find it hard to study when I'm at home.. there's too many distractions like T.V, the computer or I'm just to lazy to even look at my notes. The only time i study at home is right before i go to bed.. which is a technique I learned in my psychology class, when you study right before you go to bed you think about it when your sleeping and it's the last thing in your head... lol I think that's how it works, I have to review my notes again lol. And I also study on the way to school, on the bus or right before the test.. ye ye I know its a stupid way of studying but.. I don't know I'm getting 70s in most of my classes so that's alright i guess. lol I should be studying right now.. but I'm writing about studying on this blog haha

Running

Since I'm not hitting the gym, I'm hitting the streets of Pickering! lol. I go out for jogs about everyday after school or before school starts... I feel very relaxed while I run, I have my ipod with me and turn up the tunes. It's a very calm feeling just running, It's a good time to think because your just by yourself and no one is bothering you. I've never ran in the winter before, I always thought that I would hate it, but It's actually quite nice when your body warms up and you can't feel the cold. I feel like I'm in my own little world.. after a run i actually feel happy, I don't know why but I just do. Its a great feeling to be able to just run away from life's problems sometimes, by actually going outside and running. I know eventually you have to deal with them again, but once your out there.. I don't know its just hard to explain, you have to go out there and try it for yourself.

Next Semester

So ye.... My schedule for next semester blOowWwws! Basically I end really late everyday. Since its in Oshawa, the commute is about 2 hours each day, sometimes longer.... It is 1 hour there, then 1 hour back... On Monday and Tuesday I end at 6pm which means I'm not going to be able to get home until 7pm.. which sucks! Ye just about everyone in my class (PFP Family... lol) is pretty pissed about that.. We only had a choice between a crappy schedule and a even crappier schedule.. I'm not going to have time for anything anymore >:(...lol damn it

K-1 WORLD GP 2008 FINAL

Now this event is also a big one.. lots of events in december.. This is on december 6th.. same day as pacman vs dela hoya... But probably going to watch boxing instead of this. I dont really follow to much k1 but i know half of the fighters on this list... The fighter i Predict to win the whole thing depends on one fight.. who ever wins between peter aerts or badr hari is going to win the GP title

Ethics class

I told you guys in one of my posts that I am in police foundations.. ye so in police foundations everyone has to take an ethics course... My teacher told me that the stuff we are learning is on par with a second year uoft ethics class. because he went to uoft and he just took his second year ethics class and is teaching it to us. We are 1st year college students, so some of the stuff goes right over my head sometimes lol. I'm not gonna lie to you.. but some of that stuff is incredibly interesting.. He basically gives us certain ethics theories and gives us the example...really interesting stuff. I'm just going to say a example.. actually its sorta one of our assignments.

Basically your in a dilemma.. and that dilemma is you are a police officer in a small town, you are the chief inspector, I guess you can call it. You get a call and basically, you hear that a 5 year old little girl has been raped and murdered... now here's the problem, you have no leads. No suspects, NO NOTHING.... The case eventually goes national, so obviously everyone in this little town knows about it. Now everyone in the town suspects one person.. that person is basically the town crazy, the town idiot. So you eventually bring this guy into custody.. you question him.. its gets to the point where the guy tells you he has a solid alibi. time and place.. could have not committed the crime.. while having the guy in custody.. everyone in the town is waiting outside. They are basically outside waiting for him to come out to kill him. They will not listen to reason because this crowd no matter what they hear. They believe 100% that this man committed the crime. So they are going to kill this man..

You have two options:
1) You let this man go outside and he gets killed by the crowd, you lose your job.
2) You send this man to jail.. making everyone happy..But he is Innocent.. so your sending a Innocent man to jail, he will probably be raped and killed in jail. because rape is the most vile and disgusting thing you can do according to prisoners.. killing a police officer is the best thing... you will be treated with respect.. fyi

This is suppose to be unsolvable.. since it is unsolvable we basically pick one of the theories our teacher taught us to try and explain why we picked either 1 or 2..... either way this Innocent man is going to have something bad happen to him. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Imposing your ideas on people

Sometimes, you have people come up to you and no matter what you say, they dont listen, like a sales person for example is trying to sell you something and you say.. im not interested in what your selling, get the hell away from me. But no matter what, they still keep trying to sell you their product. thats the same thing about trying to change peoples minds.. sometimes its not going to work. people have different opinions on certain things and are not going to be interested in what that person is trying to tell you... i know sometimes you only say your ideas because you care... but you cant keep grinding your thoughts into that persons head, even though you think your way is right.. sometimes they wont want to listen..

The Pooolice

I am currently at durham college in oshawa for police foundations... its almost the end of my first semester and from what i gathered from college, is its a lot harder then high school in my opinion. just the work, the expectations and the exhausting days that your are at school. at first i started really shitty... but now i found my groove. probably because i dropped one of my classes.. lol. doing that gave me enough time to study for my other classes.. its seems like the whole process of trying to get into the police force is pretty hard. some of my teachers tell me after pfp(police foundation) you can be hired. but some tell stories like it took them 5 years just to be hired by the force! its pretty discouraging to hear that. but you know it puts a fire under my ass to keep working harder so it doesnt get to the point to where i have to wait 5 years for a job interview. but its a job i want to do. lol again i get shit from my friends because i want to be a cop. like i get questions like if i do this will you arrest me? lol probably not but i mean its a hard decision when your a cop.. Theres things that you should do or you ought to do.. meaning the proper thing to do is probably arrest them.. but they are your friends so your not gonna arrest them unless if its serious like a murder.. or something like that.. ye so..ye

Pride of the Philippines

Manny Pacman Pacquiao.... is a superstar in the Philippines, just because of his success all over the world. If you do not know Manny, he is a world champion boxer and has an upcoming bout with Oscar De la Hoya... its basically speed vs size and strength. manny being speedy gonzales and oscar being the big strong guy..lol. Many people think that manny is going to much weight above his natural weight class to fight oscar.. from what i believe the bout is at 147lb. i dont think it is a title fight.. its just a superfight featuring the #1 ranked p4p fighter in the world(manny) vs a former world champ who just came off a loss.. oscar went into the ring with formerly ranked #1 p4p floyd mayweather jr. and loss in a split decision. I believe in manny and i hope he pulls this one out... the bout is going to be on December 6th at the mgm grand in los vegas, i think. But ye hope its a good one.

Whats up with the raptors?

After a 3-0 start they are 3-7 i think.... their inconsistent play is sometimes so hard to watch... i usually just watch the first half then dont even bother watching the second. its because they do not know how to play 48 minutes! they are sometimes even up by as much as 10 points going into half time, then they get lazy and end up losing the game. bryan colangelo's plan with j.o. isnt working out to great either.. i mean ye he gets rebounds, but hes just not the same... the man cannot score, his fade away jumpers, that are two feet away from the net are just embarrassing because he misses every single one. i feel a big move coming from the raptors.. either a big trade or i dont even know... 2010 is when bosh's contract ends.. i see him moving if the raps keep losing games...

DAYKEEPER BY THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE

Foreign exchange is usually a hip hop group. but for their newest album they decided to make it a little different then what they usually give to the fans. this time instead of phonte aka phontigga aka percy miracles rapping and giving us the brilliant punch lines he puts in his usual hip hop song.... he now sings.. and does a good job doing it! the new album "leave it all behind" is a album thats easy listening and its something that can relax you, no matter what kind of mood your in. so either pick up the album or listen to the whole thing on youtube like i did.. lol

New bond girl

The new bond girl... what more can I say about this one... not like the other ones, because she actually has a mission of her own... I saw the new bond movie on Friday I think. I saw some of the movie on the computer on Thursday and thought meh its not too good. Plus I previously heard it was incredibly boring, so I had low expectation coming into the movie anyways. But whatever, I went to see the movie and I'm not gonna lie to you it was pretty damn good. Especially the new BOND girl... I don't know what it is about her but what ever it is i like it... LOL. ye good movie go watch it. BTW her name is Olga Kurylenko

The only drug i need is MUAY THAI

I train muay thai currently at siams no 1 in toronto. I get burned and shit from my friends because i train in martial arts lol, for some odd reason they just make jokes about how i can kick everyones ass. lol i'm just a begginer, still learning.. trying to get better. IF you do not know what muay thai is, its basically boxing, but with kicks, knees, elbows and clinching.. lol so it really isnt like boxing at all. But muay thai has made me more disciplined in a sense that, i dont smoke or drink.. being in college its pretty hard to do. I would say that muay thai is really a positive.. i dont know how to say it.. i guess it influences me not to do that stupid shit that any 18 year old likes to do. Even though i'm not currently training right now because of school and a injury i have. i still stay away from anything bad for me. Muay Thai is a Drug for me... really, i cant get enough of it... some times i get discouraged but i still try and keep up with some of the veterans at siams no 1

Do you really want to win or just look good losing

I'm new to this blogging stuff, I'm not much of a writer but who cares.. i just try and send out positive messages and shizzle.

I got this from a song I was listening to. I can't really remember what the song is called, but I remember the artist.... LITTLE BROTHER. very good hip hop group.. but anyways. A lot of people think that as long as you look good in life its alright, but i think that, that's not what life is about. you need to try and achieve those goals you set for yourself. live life to its fullest. BE A WINNER.. it maybe hard at times but do your best to do what makes you happy
